Barry was born in South Africa, where he spent most of his life prior to moving to Australia in 2000. Barry  lives on the Sunshine Coast with his wife Althea and are now " True Blue Aussies "

Selling Management Rights comes naturally to Barry, who can draw on vast knowledge acquired over many years working in the real estate and property development  industry.

Before getting involved in real estate, Barry was a diamond diver, a very unusual career choice some would say. Barry went on to become senior Dive Master responsible for the health and safety of a hundred men. He has logged over 10,000 hours under water- a record that very few commercial divers achieve.

Shortly after moving to Australia, Barry and Althea purchased their first Management Rights business in Noosa. The property was a small boutique building and they soon realised that it was not going to be a full time job. Barry started selling Management Rights part time where he had immediate success. A short time later he was working full time selling Management Rights and the business was then sold.  With a desire to remain in Management Rights ownership they purchased a passive share in a large 180 unit building on the Gold Coast.

Over the Last  9 years Barry has worked for some of the largest  Management Rights Corporates and decided the time was right to form his own broking business. The opportunity to join with Platinum came along at the perfect time and the future now looks very rosy indeed.

We are confident that all of Barry's clients will benefit from greater flexibility and service that can be provided outside of  a rigid corporate structure. Barry and Ian are past work colleagues and have over 40 years combined industry experience.
